Dewey Branstetter, Chairman of the Metro Charter Revision Commission, and Councilwoman Emily Evans will discuss Evans sponsoring a proposed Metro Charter amendment.  Evans is proposing to reduce the size of Metro Council to 27 members and an increase in term limits from two to three consecutive four-year terms.  The Charter Revision Commission’s job is to review proposed changes to the Metro Charter, make recommendations to the Metro Council concerning proposed charter changes, and periodically review the charter to determine if the commission should initiate changes in the charter.  OpenLine is a live call-in show that features the area’s biggest newsmakers.
