Obligations and Ethical Concerns When Serving on a Nonprofit Board

Carolyn Schott will present Obligations and Ethical Concerns When Serving on a Nonprofit Board on June 29th from 1:00-2:00 EST.  Attorneys are often asked to serve on the board of directors for nonprofit and tax exempt organizations. Understanding your role and obligations as a director with particular professional skills is important. When are you just a board member and when are you serving as an attorney for the organization? This presentation will help you learn how to handle the expectations of organizations when you are a lawyer serving in a fiduciary role and when you are rendering legal advice to the organization.
