SRVH Scholarship Fund

In celebration of the firm’s 40th anniversary, SRVH established a renewable, need-based Scholarship Fund at The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, Inc. The Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses expressly on charitable, educational, and public improvement initiatives.

SRVH’s Scholarship Program is designed to support students seeking to pursue a two or four-year degree or who are enrolled in a technical school program, community college, or university. Of course, students who express an interest in a law-related career will receive special consideration.

The scholarship recipient selection process is managed solely by The Foundation with final authority at its Board of Directors’ discretion. Scholarship awards are intended to balance merit and financial need with more emphasis placed on candidates with limited monetary resources and access to advancement. Scholarship applications are reviewed and evaluated only by a board-appointed Scholarship Committee, which will make recommendations based on award criteria.

SRVH created the Scholarship Program to celebrate this 40th-anniversary milestone because it reinforces our mission of service and giving back, strengthens our connection with the communities where we live, and establishes a first step in creating a relationship with next-generation professionals in the region. Most importantly, our Scholarship Program exemplifies our sense of social responsibility through tangible action and the spirit of giving in a meaningful and measurable way – one that furthers society as a whole and promotes optimism and progressive change.

We believe our Scholarship Program reflects our personal cultural values and drive to remain aligned with the needs of the markets we serve while cultivating equity and inclusion. We relish the opportunity to help level the playing field through critical financial support for education access that improves society as a whole.
