Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison was delighted to sponsor and attend the 17th Annual Napier-Looby Bar Foundation (NLBF) Barristers’ Banquet & Awards Program on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
The Nashville legal community gathered to recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements of the honorees of the NLBF awards. Honorees included Chancellor Russell Perkins, recipient of the Alexander Looby Lifetime Achievement Award, Dannelle F.W. Whiteside, recipient of the J.C. Napier Trailblazer Award, and Judge Marcus Floyd, recipient of the Justice A.A. Birch Outstanding Service Award.
The evening also included a tribute to the late Honorable Richard H. Dinkins.
The NLBF is a 501(c)(3) organization which serves as the philanthropic arm of the Napier-Looby Bar Association (NLBA), an affiliate of the National Bar Association, the oldest and largest association of black attorneys, with more than 10,000 members. The Foundation raises funds for scholarships and charitable donations to benefit worthy organizations and persons of need in the African American and minority communities in Middle Tennessee. The Foundation has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships and charitable donations made possible by the support of NLBF fellows, NLBA members and the Nashville area’s legal and business community.
