SRVH adds Associate to its Real Estate and Commercial Lending and Corporate Practice Groups

Attorney Mary Balthrop has joined the law firm of Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison as an associate announced Tom Sherrard, founding member of the law firm. Ms. Balthrop practices in the areas of real estate and commercial lending, corporate and non-profit.

“Mary is an experienced and talented young attorney, having worked on both commercial real estate transactions and on corporate mergers and acquisitions at a major Texas firm and thereafter serving as general counsel for a large nonprofit organization in Dallas,” said Tom Sherrard, founding member. “We are excited to welcome her to our firm.”

Ms. Balthrop previously served as Secretary & General Counsel at the Dallas Museum of Art, where she was part of the Museum’s leadership team.   Prior to that, she was a commercial real estate associate at the Dallas office of Baker Botts LLP.

Ms. Balthrop earned her J.D. at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Scholarship and was Order of the Coif. She earned a B.A. in Sociology at Rice University in Houston where she graduated magna cum laude.
