The Business of Lawyering: Professional Development for Today’s Attorneys

Ryan Holt and Amy Mohan presented Casting a Wide Net: How to Ethically Use Social Media to Advertise. The session included tips on ethically using social media to market law practice, with specific tips on what to say on social media about practice areas. The TBA-sponsored seminar was held February 5th at the Tennessee Bar Center. This three-hour ethics seminar focused on practical aspects of lawyering such as managing yourself and your support staff, engaging clients, ending the client relationship ethically, and using social media to advertise.
