Lisa Helton & Andrea Sinclair Present at the Tennessee Bankers Association’s Trust & Wealth Management Conference

Firm members Lisa Helton and Andrea Sinclair presented “Steering the Ship: Strategies for Navigating Conflict with Beneficiaries” at the Tennessee Bankers Association’s Trust & Wealth Management Conference on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. The Conference is the annual meeting for Tennessee Bankers Association members working in the trust area. Lisa and Andrea’s presentation centered on the topic of trustees and the important role they play in a family’s life, including navigating critical decisions that impact beneficiaries. They identified strategies that can be employed to deescalate disputes, charting a path from conflict to calmer waters, and discussed situations where court intervention can be both necessary and helpful to maneuvering through disputes.
Lisa Helton focuses her practice on litigation, including estate and trust disputes, federal tax controversy, and a wide variety of real estate matters. Lisa was recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2025 “Lawyer of the Year” in Nashville for Trust and Estate Litigation and as the 2023 “Lawyer of the Year” in Nashville for both Trust and Estate Litigation and Tax Litigation and Controversy.
Andrea Sinclair focuses her practice on trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation. In her estate planning practice, Andrea works collaboratively with high-net-worth individuals and families, public figures, entertainers, and their advisors to create tailored estate plans and accomplish sophisticated wealth transfer and preservation goals. Andrea also advises and guides fiduciaries and beneficiaries throughout the administration and litigation of trusts and probate estates. She was named to the Nashville Post’s “2024 In Charge” Legal list in 2024 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers® for both Trusts and Estates and Trusts and Estates Litigation every year since 2021.
