John H. Roe Jr.

In Memoriam

December 29, 1946 – February 6, 2024

John Roe was a founding member of Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison. He practiced primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, municipal finance and international law.

Mr. Roe received his legal education from Vanderbilt University, graduating with first honors in 1972. At Vanderbilt, he was a member of the Order of the Coif and articles editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. He graduated cum laude from Davidson College with a bachelor’s degree, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa.
