Amy Rao Mohan becomes litigation associate at SRVH
Attorney Amy Rao Mohan has joined the law firm of Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison as an associate in the firm’s litigation group. Prior to joining SRVH, Mohan was law clerk to Judge Gilbert S. Merritt, United State Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, in Nashville.
Mohan earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, magna cum laude, where she was Order of the Coif. She served as Moot Court board chairperson in her third year, and was a staff editor of the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy. She earned several honors, including the Chancellor George Lewis Award for outstanding leadership as chair of Moot Court Board and the Susan B. Devitt Award for Excellency in Oral and Written Advocacy in 2011 and 2012.
Mohan earned a B.S. in journalism at Northwestern University in 2002. Prior to attending law school, Mohan was a reporter at WTVF in Nashville.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Mohan lives in Nashville. She is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
