Chris Sabis Joins American Arbitration Association Roster of Arbitrators

Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison member Chris Sabis has joined the American Arbitration Association‘s (AAA) roster of arbitrators’ commercial and healthcare panels. AAA panels comprise judges and leaders in the legal and business communities with industry-specific knowledge and expertise. Arbitrators must adhere to Codes of Ethics developed by the AAA and the American Bar Association (ABA).

In addition to becoming a AAA arbitrator, Sabis is a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court and on the American Health Law Association’s roster of neutrals. He is one of only six Nashville lawyers listed with the AHLA. In these roles, Sabis leverages his advocacy skills to resolve disputes quickly, fairly, and inexpensively outside the courtroom.

Sabis concentrates his practice on government investigations, litigation, white-collar litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. He leads the firm’s government compliance and investigations group. Much of his work involves fraud and abuse matters, with extensive experience defending and mediating False Claims Act cases involving allegations of healthcare and procurement fraud. He defends a wide range of clients in white-collar fraud investigations, commercial litigation, and government investigations.
