Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison Adds Depth to Construction Litigation Practice

Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison is pleased to announce Thomas B. Hall has joined the firm as an associate. Thomas is a member of the firm’s business and commercial litigation group, where he will concentrate on complex construction matters.

“We are delighted to have Thomas join our team,” said member Todd Panther. “His experience handling construction issues for both commercial and residential projects is an excellent complement to our thriving practice.”

Before joining the firm, Thomas was an associate at the very well respected firm of Smith Cashion & Orr, PLC, a Nashville based litigation firm focusing on construction law. He earned his J.D., M.B.A, and LL.M. in Taxation, magna cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law. He was the recipient of the Henry H. Hutchison Federal Tax Clinic Scholarship, an honor awarded only to the top five LL.M. students. Thomas earned his B.A., cum laude, from Sewanee: The University of the South.  Thomas is licensed in Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky.

During law school, he served as a Judicial Extern and Judicial Intern for The Honorable Jennifer H. Henderson in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He was also a Judicial Intern for The Honorable L. Scott Coogler in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and was elected President of the School of Law’s chapter of the American Constitution Society.
