May 6, 2026 | Aimee Moore
Firm member Hunter Branstetter will moderate “A Conversation with Chief Justice Bivins & Dean Koch” alongside Todd Presnell of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, as part of the Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) Litigation Practice Section’s continuing series “Perspectives from the Bench” on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the new TBA office in Nashville.
The moderated panel, featuring Tennessee Supreme Court Chief Justice Jeff Bivins and Nashville School of Law Dean Bill Koch, will discuss each justice’s path to the bench, the importance of mentors, the manner in which justices interact, the significance of the Rule of Law in our society, among other topics. The one and one half-hour CLE program will be followed by a networking reception.
Hunter Branstetter focuses his practice on trial and dispute resolution in matters ranging widely from contract claims to civil rights, corporate disputes to commercial litigation, condemnation/eminent domain to construction, antitrust to administrative law, environmental law to employment issues, property rights to professional liability, and trade secrets to torts of all sorts. Hunter comprehensively represents a number of municipalities, utilities, and other governmental or quasi-governmental entities. In addition to serving as outside general counsel, he represents these sorts of clients in singular engagements, often related to service-area disputes, solid waste issues, or environmental claims.
TBA members and non-members are invited to learn more about the program and to register, at www.tba.org.
