Cornell Kennedy has a long record of service to the Nashville Bar Association (NBA) and Foundation. He served as NBA secretary in 2013 and was a member of the NBF Leadership Forum class in 2015-2016. He is a current co-chair of the NBA Diversity Committee.

Chris Sabis has been active in the bar throughout his career, serving as the former secretary and current chair of the NBA Historical Committee. He is an active, contributing member of the NBA’s Diversity Committee and served as chair and vice-chair of the TBA’s Federal Practice Section.

The Nashville Bar Foundation Fellows Program was established in 1991 as a way for the bar to honor its colleagues who have contributed significantly to the community. This devotion to service to the client and the public interest is one of the program’s hallmarks. Fellows are selected by their colleagues, and each class is limited to approximately 2 percent of the Nashville bar.
