Lisa Helton and Andrea Sinclair Present at ACTEC 2025 Southern Regional Meeting

Firm members Lisa Helton and Andrea Sinclair presented “Choppy Waters: Strategies for Navigating Conflict Between Fiduciaries and Beneficiaries” at the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel’s (ACTEC) 2025 Southern Regional Meeting.
The meeting, which took place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, featured educational programs from industry professionals for Fellows of the College.
ACTEC is an organization of trust and estate lawyers and law professors in the United States and around the world. ACTEC’s peer-elected Fellows are at the top of their profession, committed to maintaining excellence in the trust and estate legal field and to continually improving the practice of trust and estate law. ACTEC Fellows are skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning and probate procedure, and administration of trusts and estates of decedents, minors, and incompetents.
Lisa Helton focuses her practice on estate and trust litigation, appellate law, general and commercial litigation, environmental litigation, landlord/tenant law, representation of homeowners and homeowner associations (HOAs) in HOA disputes, and IRS tax litigation and controversy. Lisa was recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2025 “Lawyer of the Year” in Nashville for Trust and Estate Litigation and as the 2023 “Lawyer of the Year” in Nashville for both Trust and Estate Litigation and Tax Litigation and Controversy.
Andrea Sinclair focuses her practice on trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation matters. In her estate planning practice, Andrea works collaboratively with high-net-worth individuals and families, public figures, artists, and their advisors to create tailored estate plans and accomplish sophisticated wealth transfer and preservation goals. Andrea also advises and guides fiduciaries and beneficiaries throughout the administration and litigation of trusts, probate estates, guardianships, and conservatorships. She was named to the Nashville Post’s “2024 In Charge” Legal list in 2024 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers® as “One to Watch,” for both Trusts and Estates and Trusts and Estates Litigation every year since 2021.
