White Collar Litigation

Our White Collar practice group consists of attorneys with experience prosecuting and defending criminal and civil prosecutions, investigations, and cases brought by federal and state law enforcement agencies. The team’s combined experience covers most aspects of white collar work. Team leads Chris Sabis and Eric Osborne, in former roles as federal and volunteer prosecutors, respectively, have tried over a dozen criminal jury trials between them. Before joining the firm, Mr. Sabis and Mr. Osborne worked at AmLaw 100 firms, where they each handled multiple civil and criminal investigations of some of the world’s largest corporations. The team’s lead associate, Micah Bradley, graduated first in her class from Vanderbilt Law School and clerked for the Honorable Eli Richardson, himself a former prosecutor and FBI agent.

Our team has handled federal investigations, pre-deal criminal due diligence, and compliance questions involving the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The team has similarly handled investigations by multiple Tennessee state agencies with similar jurisdiction. This experience gives SRVH’s white collar lawyers the skills needed to work with and against government and co-defendants’ counsel in complex white collar disputes with both criminal and civil components. Our attorneys have experience in several white collar areas, including:

  • Anti-Kickback Statutes
  • Antitrust
  • Bank and Financial Institution Fraud
  • Elder Fraud & Abuse

  • Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
  • Government Procurement Fraud
