Mike Abelow Named to the Nashville Business Journal’s 2022 Best of the Bar in Two Categories

Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison is pleased to announce that Member Mike Abelow has been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as Best of the Bar in the Bankruptcy and Litigation & Dispute categories. The Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” recognizes top lawyers in Middle Tennessee through a public nomination process followed by a practice-specific, closed peer vote. Those attorneys scoring the highest amongst their peers were chosen for inclusion in the 2022 class.

Being named Best of the Bar is a well-deserved recognition of Abelow’s many accomplishments. His professional accolades include a recent appointment by the United States Trustee’s Office to serve as a Subchapter 5 bankruptcy trustee and serving as the immediate past president of the Nashville Bar Association.

Always devoted to giving his time, Abelow shows his commitment to the Nashville community through his pro bono work and by serving on the Nashville Urban Debate League Board, a non-profit that brings the proven academic benefits of debate to students who otherwise could not participate in this activity.

Abelow represents a diverse clientele in complex commercial disputes and bankruptcy proceedings, including breach of contract claims, business torts, loan restructuring, lender liability, and guaranty disputes.
