Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison Launches Government Compliance & Investigations Practice Group
Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison has formed a Government Compliance & Investigations Practice Group to streamline and expand its existing capabilities. This Practice Group brings together litigators with extensive experience in federal and state investigations, and transactional and regulatory counsel experienced in a myriad of compliance issues. It provides guidance on issues ranging from key contractual protections, initial compliance, and construction of compliance programs, to internal investigations, responses to subpoenas or civil investigative demands (CIDs), self-disclosure, settlement, and litigation.
“The Group counsels our clients in complying with government corruption and fraud and abuse regulations, responding to government subpoenas, and conducting internal investigations to stay ahead of governmental inquiries,” explained Group Chair Christopher C. Sabis. “The Group draws on the varied experience and expertise of our members to assemble the right team for each unique situation while supporting clients at every stage of their involvement with the government.”
The Practice Group represents corporations, group practices, non-profit organizations, and individuals in all capacities. Firm attorneys have handled these matters both in private practice and as attorneys for federal agencies including the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. The firm offers significant experience in the healthcare industry and in fields such as antitrust, construction, and securities.
