What We Do
Our Government Compliance & Investigations Practice Group brings together litigators with extensive experience in federal and state investigations and transactional and regulatory counsel capable of addressing a myriad of compliance issues.  The Group integrates these skills to advise clients in complying with government corruption, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse regulations, responding to government subpoenas, and conducting internal investigations to stay ahead of governmental inquiries.

Our lawyers have handled investigations in private practice and as attorneys for federal agencies, including the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.  We have broad and significant experience in the healthcare industry, as well as in areas such as antitrust, construction, and transportation.

The Government Compliance & Investigations Practice Group draws on the varied experience of its members to assemble the right team for each unique situation while supporting our clients at every stage of their involvement with the government.  We provide counsel on a wide range of issues from key contractual protections, initial compliance, and construction of compliance programs, to internal investigations, responses to subpoenas or Civil Investigative Demands (CIDs), self-disclosure, settlement, and litigation.

How We Work
The growing risk of government investigations and white-collar litigation presents complex challenges. Legal services from attorneys with experience in these areas are necessary to mitigate the risk of criminal punishment and civil penalties, address sensitive government and regulatory inquiries, and handle accompanying business concerns.

We can prevent or limit government charges because we understand how the government investigates, builds, and prosecutes a case. SRVH advocates at an early stage of an investigation to determine whether criminal or civil charges can be avoided. If an administrative or civil complaint, or a criminal indictment, is unavoidable, our team has the experience to defend clients in state and federal courts.

SRVH attorneys represent government contractors, healthcare providers, business owners, boards of directors, corporations, employees, and more in all aspects of government investigations. We represent clients in civil and criminal cases, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement matters, and grand jury probes. Our veteran lawyers help clients successfully navigate any of these challenging situations.

Who We Are
Known as a trusted top law firm in the Nashville area, across Tennessee and beyond, Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbison has built its reputation on strong personal interactions with our clients. Our decades of experience assure that our clients receive superior representation and counsel. If your organization is facing a government inquiry or investigation, SRVH can help.
